He is currently developing new knowledge on scenarios and modelling to evaluate global biodiversity policy, including to model drivers and impacts of land use and land use change, with substantial links to food systems. This includes new scenarios of livestock futures. Jay is an interdisciplinary researcher with previous work spanning public attitudes to agriculture and land use policy, as well as research on what it means for livestock to be resilient and efficient in the context of climate change.
