Adrian Bird elected to US National Academy of Sciences
Congratulations to Adrian Bird on his election as a foreign associate member of the US National Academy of Sciences.
Members of the Academy are elected in recognition of their distinguished and continuing achievements in original research. Foreign associates are nonvoting members of the Academy, with citizenship outside the United States.
Those elected on 3 May bring the total number of active members to 2,291 and the total number of foreign associates to 465.
