Lecturer in Veterinary Clinical Education

Background

Since graduating in 2013, Dana has gained extensive experience in various clinical settings across the UK, including private and academic referral hospitals, charities, and general practice. She completed two rotating internships, followed by a specialised internship in internal medicine at The University of Edinburgh. Her passion for teaching led her to pursue a career in education during her time in academia.

Dana is dedicated to enhancing clinical reasoning within the medical curriculum and helping undergraduates develop their critical thinking skills. In addition to supporting students, she is committed to aiding her fellow clinical educators. She is currently co-creating the VetClinEd Program, a faculty development initiative tailored specifically for clinical educators, whilst exploring ways to cultivate a flourishing community for educators.
