The Foundation for Positive Mental Health is working with the University of Edinburgh to provide free access to the Feeling Good App - an evidence based self-help programme.
New graduates can now access a mental skills training programme which teaches how to calm the mind and develop a positive mindset, enabling greater emotional resilience to deal more effectively with challenges of life after graduation.
iThrive is a fantastic online space where you can find information and resources for mental health and wellbeing in the Edinburgh area. It's managed by Health in Mind, the local mental health charity, and includes access to services, support, activities, events and places.
It's common to find that the transition out of university can impact your wellbeing. For support with your wellbeing have a look at the wellbeing toolkits on the Graduate Career Advantage Scotland website which have been specifically designed to support the graduation transition.
The University of Edinburgh offers a range of Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs), many with a personal development slant that can help you enhance aspects of your life from physical fitness to philosophy.
MOOCs are freely accessible and open-licensed short courses, delivered to large cohorts of learners fully online. To date, more than 2 million people have signed up to Edinburgh courses across a broad range of subject areas, and they form part of the University's commitment to knowledge exchange and community outreach.
