A range of support is available to you, no matter where you are currently living.

Five Ways to Wellbeing

The University promotes the New Economic Foundation’s ‘’ as a great resource to help you maintain positive wellbeing:

Connect: Talk and listen, be there, feel connected.

Be active: Do what you can, enjoy what you do, move your mood.

Take notice: Remember the simple things that give you joy.

Keep learning: Embrace new experiences, see opportunities, surprise yourself.

Give: Your time, your words, your presence.

Disability and Learning Support Service

The Disability and Learning Support Service provides advice and support for disabled students. We support students with dyslexia, mental health issues and students on the autistic spectrum, as well as those who have physical and sensory impairments. We also work with the rest of the University to improve access in the widest sense.

Disability and Learning Support Service

If you have a disability, learning difficulty or health condition that could affect your studies please get in touch with the Service as soon as possible to discuss your support requirements – please don’t wait until you are back on campus as the sooner you get in touch, the sooner they can put support in place: disability.service@ed.ac.uk.

Chaplaincy

The Chaplaincy is for students and staff of all faiths and none. Our large multi-faith and belief team offer a range of wellbeing services and practices in-person and online, including pastoral support, free mindfulness sessions and the University Listening Service.
