Biography

Background

Liam manages the Undergraduate Office within the PPLS Teaching Organisation, with oversight of policies and procedures for all undergraduate teaching activities, including line management of the undergraduate administrator team.

The main focus of his work is ensuring that the Teaching Organisation provides efficient and coordinated administrative support to students and academic staff, working closely with other Student Services teams such as Student Support and the postgraduate part of the Teaching Organisation. He is also involved in a number of strategic improvement projects.

Liam is an experienced higher education professional, with a background in teaching support encompassing professional accreditation, curriculum design, operational support, and all aspects of assessment and examinations. Prior to joining PPLS, he worked at Newcastle University, from which he holds a BA in Linguistics and Media.
