Background
Justus earned his undergraduate degree in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics with a major in Economics from the University of Warwick in England. In summer 2015 he received his MSc in Economics from the Scottish Graduate Programme in Economics at Edinburgh and started his PhD studies at the university. After completing his PhD in 2020 Justus joined the department as a stipendiary research and teaching fellow.

Research summary
Microeconomics - Theory and Applications.
My current research is largely focussed on Mechanism Design. In particular, I am investigating how the possibility of renegotiation influences the optimal design of procurement processes.
