Background
I hold a BSc in Abnormal and Clinical Psychology from Anglia Ruskin University(2015-2018), with research on the identification of micro-expressions in different emotional intensities( Major project- Year 3). Alongside the degree I was awarded the Alumni and Academic Scholarship, which allowed me to pursue and complete a MSc in Clinical and Cognitive Neuroscience at Anglia Ruskin University (2018-2019) with research on mental imagery and its impact in people with different levels of Anxiety and Depression.
During my BSc, I was a research assistant in two occasions: the first, I volunteered to assisted in research exploring the impact of emotional states in emotion recognition. Second, I assited a PhD student in transcribing qualitative data at the Lisbon Psychology Institute (ISPA). Moreover, I worked as a mental healh support worker for 6-months between my seconf and third year of the BSc.
Right now, for my PhD I am working on my systematic review and I am a active member of Reseach Bow and Project Soothe.

Research summary
In my PhD research I am investigating the impact of soothing Images on prospective visual imagery and symptoms of anxiety and depression.
I aim to investigate the impact of prospective visual imagery in individuals with mood disorders(particularly anxiety disorders and depression). In addition, I am interested in investigating the impact of soothing images in individuals with mood disorders. Furthermore, I have an interest on the usage of VR as future psychological intervention. Therefore, I have a strong interest in psychopathology and psychological treatments and interventions
